기도는 전적으로 하나님께 드리는 개인적인 고백이어야 합니다. 하지만 주일 대예배에서 회중을 대표하여 기도할 때에는 중언부언되지 않도록 미리 공기도문을 작성하여야 할 것입니다. 만일 다른 사람이 써놓은 우수한 기도문을 따를 때에는 그 영성을 충분히 내재화하여 자신의 기도로 만들어야 하고, 그것을 그대로 답습하여서는 안 됩니다.

1. 성령강림후 기간은 하나님께서 성령을 보내신 것을 기념하는 기간입니다. 특히 이번 주일은 성령의 불을 통해 추위를 이겨낼 수 있도록 기도합시다.
   
   
2. 특히 춥고 가혹한 환경을 벗어남에 감사하기 보다는, 아직 성령의 불을 몰라 추위에 떨고 있는 이웃들을 가엽게 여기고 그들을 불가로 이끌어낼 수 있는 용기를 가지도록 기도합시다.
   
   
3. 게을러지지 않고 나날이 참된 소망을 더 굳건히 하며 구원을 갈망할 수 있도록 기도합시다.

2. 예시 기도문

Our Gracious Father in Heaven,

We come with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of the Holy Spirit, whose advent we celebrate during this season. We bow before you, realizing your sovereignty over all things, seen and unseen.

As we reflect on the Holy Spirit's works in our lives, we pray for the warmth of the Holy Spirit in this cold season, as the Spirit comes to us as fire. Grant that the Holy Spirit may envelop us, providing comfort and strength to face the challenges that the world presents.

In the midst of our own comfort, Lord, we acknowledge those who shiver in the cold, not of temperature but of spirit, unaware of the Holy Spirit's flame. Grant us the compassion to see those who are still untouched by the warmth of your love. Help us have the courage to reach out and guide them toward the transformative power of your Spirit.

Lord, in a cold and harsh world that makes us suffer, we thank You for sending the warmth of Your Holy Spirit. Help us not to take the Spirit's warmth for granted but to be vessels of your love. Help us deliver warmth for those yet to experience the comforting fire of the Holy Spirit. Grant us the wisdom and humility to recognize the needs of our neighbours, to extend a helping hand, and lead them towards the radiant warmth that only your Spirit can provide.

Lord, in these times when many may succumb to the chill of doubt and despair, empower us to hold fast to the true hope found in your Spirit. May we, day by day, strengthen our resolve to yearn for salvation and cling to the promises of eternal life that your Spirit brings.

We thank you, Lord, for the indwelling of your Spirit, a flame that guides, comforts, and empowers us. Help us, through the knowledge of the Holy Spirit, to overcome the coldness of doubt and uncertainty, and to share the warmth of your love with a world in need. We offer these prayers in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
